China Gate Restaurant

I used to love going to China Gate. My family went there so much that the employees knew our names when picking up an order. I am so sad that the restaurant closed due to new developement. I was hoping it would reopen somewhere else. Very good food. One of the few Chinese restaurants I eat at.

So sad its not open right now, its awesome food for a good price!

It is really a shame but they are no longer open. I ahve not heard where or if or when they will relocate but I do look forward to their return. I loved the place

First off the owner is terrific. Great personality and very welcoming. The food is top notch as is the service. Been going here for many years (at least 100 visits) and have never had a bad experience with the food or service. Helpings are more than generous too. Very clean with a nice family setting.

I have been going to China Gate since I was little. I am very sad by these two other reviews that it may be closed. I haven't lived on the east side in a number of years now and haven't gone but I always reccomend them when someone asks for Chinese Food on the East Side

I had been going to China Gate for the past 15 years. I was sorry to see them close. I never had a problem with the food. Once there was a mix up and they corrected it right away with a smile. It is hard to find a place that will replace the food. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent

The owner of China Gate is reason enough to dine there. He is both funny and personable. Besides the personnel, the food is delicious.
