Hand crafted burgers and fresh cut fries are what draw folks to this tiny neighborhood bar. Crooked steps and an SRO wait area add to the charm of this Akron landmark. Order deep fried dills or reuben bites for an app if you aren't a fan of hully popcorn, which is free...serv it yourself if you're a regular. Its hard to get your mouth around a Louie burger or any of the specialty burgs...nibbles required before you can chomp down. this aint no fast food, its good old greasy fun.

ALL MEALS START OFF WITH A BOWL OF FRESH HOT POPCORN TO MUNCH ON WHILE YOU WAIT FOR YOUR ORDES. THE BURGERS ARE THE BEST IN TOWN, THICK,JUICY AND COOKED JUST THE WAY YOU WANT IT.THE PLAIN BURGER WITH LETTUCE AND PICKLE IS ALL YOU COULD WANT. I REALLY LIKE THE THE BACON CHEESEBURGER THE BEST FOR MYSELF , BUT ALL THE DIFERENT COMBOS ARE GOOD. THE CHRISTIE FRIES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD, THEY HAVE SO MUCH BACON, CHEESE AND AND RANCH DRESSING THAT THEY ARE ALMOST A MEAL IN THEMSELVES. NO ONE ELSE IN TOWN PUTS AS MUCH STUFF ON THE FRIES AS THEY DO AT LOUIES. THE STAFF ARE GREAT AND IF YOU DO NOT GET THERE EARLY , YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT A SHORT WHILE FOR A SEAT.

the best burgers in the area. Most locals claim Swenson's but that's only for nostalgia sake. 1/2 burgers that are hand made, never frozen and made to order. Fresh cut fries and cold beer. It gets crowded at lunch time and seating is limited.
