  • Review: Its good to be in an Indian restaurant that has paid attention to its decor and ambiance. Tamba is a nice, cozy restaurant, right there on the strip. We had the lunch buffet and were highly satisfied with the food. We ended up going there for 3 days in a row while we were in Vegas. The prices are a bit high but I think its justified with the kind of atmosphere they provide.

  • Review: We love Indian food and eat a fair amount of it. We were drawn to the Tamba because it was first and foremost another place to try and secondly because of the ambience portryaed on their webiste. The restaurant is actually quite large and is appointed quite nicely except the grand area was closed shut and we couldn't even look in there much less sit in there. Because they were preparing fora large party in that room, our service was less than desired - our food took a long time to come out even though the plac was not yet that busy. Not all entrees were ready at the same time so one of them was nearly gone before the other arrived. And our waiter never checked back to see if we were doing okay or not. Still, the food was quite good and I would be willing to give it another shot.

  • Review: both times I've been here was for a wedding, and we NEVER had to wait for the food trays to be filled, they constintly were making sure the food was there. both times it was a party of at least 50people. They kept our drink glasses full. Nice decor in the party room. If you never tried the food before, a buffet is the way to go, just remember the names so you can order it separate next time.

  • Review: The food is very tasty and has good Indian taste. If you love ur food a bit spicy this is the place to go. I loved the daal. Vegetarian people can get lots of cjhoice compared to other places. Tandoor items and south-indian items were also good. All in all I will always go to this place every time we visit Las Vegas. This was the 3rd time in my 2 LV visits.

  • Order: We had gone for the lunch buffet. We had been there last year and loved the food very much, so gave it a try again. If u love spicy food this is the place to go. I had tried all vegetarian and non-veg dishes and the desserts. All were very good. Non-Indians shoudl try the tandoori items, gajar halwa, sweets, vegetable curries, chhole and daal. Even south-Indian dishes like the idli-saambar and curry was very good. Fruit salad was also good. We had also ordered breads, rice, daal and spinach.

  • Review: We are new to Indian food and this was our 3rd visit to this restaurant. The food and service has been awesome everytime. The manager is very friendly - you can tell s/he really cares about the restaurant. I hear they have a fabulous lunch buffet. We just haven''t had the chance to try it! The restaurant is located in the Hawaiian Marketplace on LV Blvd and Harmon. It seems a little run-down but once you get into the restaurant and past the loud performers outside you can enjoy yourself. I recommend parking valet at the Polo Club and walking to the Marketplace.

  • Order: On our first visit we each ordered the feasts so we could try a number of dishes. I recommend doing this if you haven''t tried Indian food before. You can really get an idea of what you like or don''t like. We really love the Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and Kabuli Naan.
