La Cafe

The food was good. The prices outrageous! For two of us it was $60. The service was rude and extremely slow. It took ten minutes to get seated even though there were only two tables with diners. It took another ten minutes to give drink orders and longer before she came back to take our food orders. The restaurant is not child friendly. The child's food came almost 15 minutes after the rest of us were served. We discovered after we got our bill that refills on tea or any drink was extra.
I questioned the bill because of the high cost but was refused a menu to check the prices. I finally got tired of the argument and left vowing to never come back.
I should have realized that at lunchtime a restaurant with only two occupied tables means something is wrong.
