Today I went to Mangos Grill with my girlfriend and her parents. I am Peruvian and they are american. The food was good. And they were fascinated by it. The problem came when I went to pay the bill. I saw that it was $63 for the buffet plus $5 tax and I saw an extra $10 added to the bill with no explanation as to why. When I went to the register, I spoke to the woman there and asked what the extra $10 was for. She replied that it was for the "service". I didn't understand what service because the only time that I had seen my waiter was when he brought a pitcher of Chicha Morada to my table when we first sat down. Never came back to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. I said to myself, "what kind of service was given when we had to serve ourselves since it was a buffet?" I'm not complaining about the money that I had to pay, it is the principle. No where is it written that gratuity is included. I can understand if we sat down and ordered from the menu. Where the waiter would actually have to "serve and wait" on us, but that was NOT the case. For this reason, We will NOT recommend this restuarant because you shouldn't have to pay for something you didn't receive.... "Famous Service".

Hoy dia fui a mangos junto con mi pareja y junto con sus padres tambien (todos ellos estado unidenses) , la comida muy buena y a ellos les encanto, pero la gran decepcion que me lleve, fue al pedir la cuenta, lo que consumimos fue el buffet y la cuenta me salio como 63 dolares pero me sumaron 5 dolares de tax mas 10 .. .....00 dolares de servicio, fui a la cajera a que me explique que tipo de 'servicio' era y me dijo que era por el servicio del camarero (waiter), es algo que no pude entender, porque la unica vez que vi al camarero fue un sola ves cuando me trajo la jarra de chicha y nunca mas lo vi, de que servicio se puede hablar cuando es un buffet y uno mismo se atiende, uno mismo va hasta donde estan las fuentes de comida, y por todo eso uno tiene que pagar el famoso ''servicio'', ojo que no me quejo por el dinero gastado, sino por la accion a que te cobren por algo que uno nunca tuvo.

Fabulous food, very accomodating with party size, staff is very friendly, drinks are strong and karaoke night is a blast. The first time I came I was looking to try new food, and was very pleased. I am Italian and wanted to go to a place that incorporates Italian food as well as try something new. If you decide to go, I recommend the chaufa with the red hot sauce, absolutely addicting =]

We had an horrible experience at Mango's Grill.
Food is not fresh, my lomo saltado had a bad smell..
My wife asked for a homemade chicken soup and all they gave her was a instant soup!
We asked for a refund.
No refund was given.
We left upset, I will not go there again.

What a nice restaurant located across from the train station! While waiting for my train, I was served a perfect martini. Then a "house" appitizer of chunky beef, onions, garlic, pototes and cilanto. It was delicious...and free! Definitely a nice treat. I can't wait to go back.
