Everyone in our party loved the place and said we will came back soon!!

One of my co-workers made the reservation for all 13 of us to have lunch at this Turkish restaurant in Montclair LALEZAR.So we all ordered the Lunch specials.Choice of a soup or salad or a choice of cold appitezers or even hot appitezer with a main entree choice of Kebabs ( chicken,Lamb,Fish or Vegtable) served with a side of Bulgur Pilaf. All was very tasty! I personnaly can not wait to go back.

We did not know that it was a BYOB.I ordered Turnip Juice and my husband ordered Turkish Soda. This was the very first time we were having Turkish cuisine- we asked our waiter for his favorite dishes.Based on some of his recomendations we ordered a small size Salad: whole lot of vegatables choped very fine with wallnuts and pomegranate dressing with a fresh feta on the side. For our main Entree again our waiter recomended that we make a combination of our choice Lam,Veal or Chicken Kebabs; it was served with a side of wholewheat rice that was cooked with lots of vegetables. Than we shared a Rice putting with cinamin sprinkeled on top with wallnuts.When we first walked in we told the hostess this was the first time we were having Turkish food -when we were leaving we thanked her for the complementry Turkish tea and told her we will be having Turkish Food atleast once a week if not more from this day on!!! We truly loved it!!!! It was excellent!!!!tasty,healthy,big portions,reasonable prices,lots to choose from,Good service, exotic and authentic decor,Overall it was a very pleasent first time experience for us.
