Cafe Monet

A casual French Bistro with excellent food and a unique dinner menu! There are three parts to the menu-Un and Deux are appetizers and Trois are the entrees which come in 2 sizes. This makes for easy sharing! We tried the Duck Brandy and Sage Pate with Sauternes Spiced Pear Chutney on Brioche toast. It was divine! It is one of their specialties. My entree was the Merlot Beef Braised Short Ribs served with Mint-Fava Bean Potato Puree and an onion ring. The ribs were so tender! You can bring your own wine which was a bonus. Great food and cozy atmosphere!

A new restaurant for all 5 of us; we wanted a place near The Papermill Playhouse. All were very pleased with the food, the service and convenience of location. Smaller portions allowed us to try two dishes each and feel completely satisfied. No dragging home leftovers! The food is artfully presented, very appetising. We even met the chef! Don't forget to BYO. Save room for the Creme Brulee.

Very cozy French restaurante, they were starting with a new menu, you could order around 9 items for a price, it was a little confusing, but the food was excellent, tasty, fresh, the service very good.
