  • Discovered this place, near the more famous Red Arrow one Saturday morning and stopped in, more from curiosity than anything else. The owner/cook/waitress provided an enjoyable meal, which on that first time was a delicious homemade burger and homefries. Another person at the counter ordered the baked french toast and it smelled heavenly. Since then, we've been back many times for this bit of heaven. It's basically like a baked bread pudding, sliced and cooked on the grill. The bread that is used, is homemade as well, as found during our meal. This is highly recommended as a breakfast meal. The diner is open from 8:00AM to 2:00ish on Monday through Friday, and from 9:00AM on Saturday and Sunday. Being a self run show, the Manchester Diner can only be open so much, and I believe they open on weekend nights after midnight to catch the bar crowd. The food is simple but good, and we've always left full. Conspicuous by it's absence on the breakfast menu are pancakes, but with the 'BFT' available, I wouldn't be ordering them anyway.

  • Order: Baked French Toast, Sausage, Home fries, scrambled eggs, diet pepsi
