  • Listen, if you can wait through the bad service at the counter, and ignore the sketchy atmosphere; Big Daddys has the best Donairs in Saint John! The Donairs are worth it. The garlic fingers are not bad either.

Stay away from the pizza. The pizza is amateur at best. Nothing to order if you're having guests you want to impress.

  • Visiting a cousin in Saint Johns for a day, me and him decided to head to Big Daddy's Pizza to grab ourselves a slice of pizza. That's when the problem began upon entering the restaurant.

    1. The guy at the front counter was ignoring us. It took me 5-10 seconds to get his attention. After he gave us our pizza, he just leaned on the counter dozing off, but still answering the phone and taking orders.

    2. The restaurant was filled with 1 or 2 flies in the restaurant's kitchen. Someone has to really find where those two flies came from before more come in.

    3. When we took our pizza home, we noticed a few moldy parts on my slice, but my cousin had more moldy parts. I threw it into the green bin and called up the restaurant, but they hung up on me quickly.

I am not ever going to that pizza parlor again. I'd rather eat Pizza Hut than eat there again.

There was additional food like sandwiches and Pita snacks, but why waste my money there.

  • Your average strip-mall-type pizzeria, in a not-very-good part of town. The people are friendly enough but the pizza is mundane at best.

All their pizzas are square ("Square Pizza is MORE Pizza!!!") and they don't have an actual pizza oven, just one of those assembly-line conveyor-belt things. Ho-hum. Our "works" pizza was run-of-the-mill and not a particulary good mill, either. Blah.

They also sell sub sandwiches, Pita Pizzas and Donairs, but I haven't bothered to go back to try any of them. If their signature item— pizza— is this poor, why bother with the secondary menu?

Not for me, in any case.
