Next I was brought my avgolemono and bread. The soup was amazing. The lemon didn't overpower it even though it was strong. The flavors came together and complimented each other. It was as it should be. As I ate, I found myself wishing that the experience I was having would never end. However, all good things must come to an end and other good things begin. I was brought my lamb. The lamb was tender. Cooked to my specifications. I had ordered the Greek potatoes. They were seasoned tastefully and were fried in olive oil to just the right crispness. The Greek green beans that seem to be served with most of the meals (assuming my memory is correct) were fine. I didn't adore them nor did I dislike them. I'm not exactly sure what all was added to them. I remember mushrooms and onions... But hey! they are green beans. They aren't going to make or break this meal! For desert, I decided as much as I love baklava, I was going to try something new. I decided on the sweet cake. WOW! I went spiraling back to my childhood once more! I had forgotten all the wonderful sweets I was spoiled with, as a child, until I tasted that first bite. I finished that piece and I ordered another! I had forgotten to order my Greek coffee with the first piece and what is desert without the coffee? (Which, by the way, was just as I remembered it - thick, sweet and with the fine coffee grounds settled to the bottom.) Our waitress was very professional. She was pleasant, fun, and informative. She didn't lurk or appear too often. Her timing was amazing. I have never been so pleased with a restaurant as I am with Dimitri's. My only regret is the location. A restaurant of such caliber should be located somewhere more deserving than the Westgate mall area. I also wish that upon entry, there weren't any booths. I only saw three. Booths just seem so... I'm not sure of the word I'm looking for. They just seem wrong in comparison to the menu. I think the food is deserving of a bit more elegance. All in all though, Dimitri's is the place to dine. We will be back. (By the way, my daughter did not eat as well as I would have liked. That's fine! I'll have her dinner by candlelight tomorrow night!)

I wonder how many people in Great Falls are unaware of the treasure of a restaurant we have in Dimitri's. Certainly, we have a few good steak houses... But fine dining is simply not known to us - until now. I expected to arrive at yet another so called "authentic" restaurant only to find that the international food had somehow been Americanized. Occasionally, I desire to have my 11 year old daughter have new experiences, so I was entirely grateful NOT to see a children's menu offered. A good sign! When my daughter struggled to read the menu and understand exactly what she might be ordering, I was even more pleased! At long last... nothing but ADULT FOOD! I ordered a Greek red wine that was recommended by our waitress. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the name of it. She did well recommending it. I am not real fan of red wines, but I was very pleased with the taste. So much that I hope on our next visit that I will be able to figure out which one it was. I started our meal with calamari and dolmades. I had never tried calamari, but was feeling a bit daring. I really thought I would have a tough time getting past the fact that it was squid, but it was so good that my fears of eating it quickly disappeared. The dolmades were perfect. So much that I went spiraling down memory lane to my childhood. (I had a babysitter who was from Greece when I was a child, as well as countless friends.)
(REVIEW IS CONTINUED AFTER THIS ONE AS ENTIRE REVIEW WILL NOT POST AT ONCE) - Order: Calamari, Dolmades, Avgolemono, Lamb, Sweet Cake, Greek Coffee
