Indigo Joe's

I was expecting a typical rather ho-hum sports bar. It was a sports bar for sure but had a great menu. It was so hard to decide what to order. My wife's half-pound angus beef cheeseburger was dynamite and my Rueben was great. The 1,000 island sauce was addictive; it didn't taste like salad dressing as in many places. The fries are seasoned just right. I usually just pick at french fries, but I finished these off. there are lots of beers and drinks like in all sports bars and the walls are plastered with big screen TVs showing sports action. However the sound is muted and it is easy to have a conversation even when the place is busy. Despite the crowd, our waitress remembered our order in every detail, made my soup to go and brought soda refills without being prompted. What a pleasant surprise this dinner turned out to be. This place has great looking tuna, salads, steaks, ribs, burgers etc.
