The food was very very good. The pie crust was not enjoyed by everyone stating it was a little to thick however, some in our party did like it. We would go back to Big R's again. We love the food and the folks are friendly there. It is very much a "Joplin" treasure.
- Order: Pulled pork dinner, with baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw and dinner rolls and coconut cream pie

First of all the food was wonderful. They also play great old rock & roll from the 60's- songs I haven't heard in years! You will not go away hungry! There was enough food left over to feed us all several more meals. All of the sides were homeade and delicious. The pie(Also Homemade) was out of this world!
- Order: I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Curley Q's & cole slaw and fresh brewed Ice Tea. Others at my table had the Chef Salad, Ribs with baked beans and potatoe salad.; and the super bird- a turkey sandwich I think it had bacon on it with onion rings and baked beans. We all shared a piece of Strawberry pie!
