We went to the salad bar to find the lettuce was so brown and wilted that it appeared to have been sitting there all day if not longer. We picked around it trying to find something edible. The mushrooms were old and black. I don't know how they expected us to put a golf ball size radish on the salad. Our steak and potatoes were delivered and cutting into the steak gave us hope. It was extremely tender but we both stared at each other with disbelief upon the first bite. We can honestly say we have never in our lives had such a horrible tasting steak. The only way to describe it was it tasted just like a dead cow. There was absolutely no marinade or flavor of any kind. Each bite was leaving a horrible after taste so we decided to soak it in A-1 sauce just so we could eat it. Even then, we didn't finish the whole steak. As for the potatoes - they looked and tasted like old baked potatoes they had cut up in slices, deep-fried, and then re-deep-fried them after getting cold in order to serve hot. They were fried beyond crisp and looked terrible. They couldn't pay us enough to go back and try them again.
- Order: We each ordered a filet mignon and house potatoes which included a trip to the salad bar. We enjoyed a bottle of merlot but I don't remember the name of it. The house potatoes were discribed as a baked potato which is quarted, seasoned and deep-fried a golden brown.
