ReviewOne of my favortite places. No need to advertise. Restaurant opened only during summer months--End of May to late September and people are waiting for the opening. All food is good and excellently prepared and served. Trout is the big specialty-served breakfast, lunch and dinner--with German and Mexican menus offered. Owner is there constantly; his wait staff returns year after year and are all trained to filet a trout, at table, expertly. The owner seats, waits, bartends buses along with his employees and knows his frequent customers. He is second generation owner and the third is already working..

OrderEggplant Parmigian, Salmon, Steak, Dover Sole, Mahi Mahi, Spaghetti and Meat Balls, Cannoli, Salads, Desserts, Whiskey Sour, Scotch and Soda, Beer, Both red and white Wines. Garlic Bread.
ReviewThough this restaurant is about 10 miles from my home, it is always well worth the trip. Have eaten here for over 40 years and the food is always A-one. It is known as an Italian restaurant, but offers a varied menu that never fails to please. The wait staff is composed of long time employees and are always happy and efficient. The decor is eclectic--Mona Lisa portraits everywhere, Scotch Plaid Carpeting, Copper-topped bar where dollar bills are attached to the walls and ceiling. This was a tradition started a good 40 years ago and continues. Most are signed by the contributor and many have comments on the restaurant. This is where my family chose to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
