  • ReviewWe got back to Oshawa after a long trip home from Cornwall. We were looking for something to eat but it was between 7-8pm at night on a saturday. We had eaten fast food while on vacation and wanted something different and something with a home cooking feel. We came across the Friendly Greek and I was familiar with Mr. Greek near my work so I decided to go in. They had more than I thought they would carry since they also had a small section for coffee time. I ordered 2 of the large chicken dinners. They cmae with a salad, bread, 3 chicken skewers, rice and potatoes in a large container. We haden't eaten since noon so we were both pretty hungry. We couldn't finish the meals and saved the rest for lunch the next day. Great taste, huge helpings and worth every penny. Best greek food east of toronto.

  • ReviewWe have ate in the restaurant but like to get the takeout because it is nicer with smalller kids. We love the food and only have a small complaint about the type of beef they use. Not the greatest but every chinese food place uses the same junky beef. Great price and buffet has a good selection. For someone looking for for good food at a good price it is worth a try.
