This place use to be amazing with amazing real all you can eat peking duck!
But now, I don't know what happened to the place...last dinner i went to, I got chicken poisoning because their BBQ chicken wasn't cooked all the way ( slimy).
Then i called the owner to complain and he said come by for a complimentary lunch or dinner.
I went back for the lunch buffet, and my spring roll had a hair wrapped around it. surprise, surprise.
There are way better buffets to eat at. Mandarin, International buffet, heck anything is better than getting poisoned and hairs in your spring rolls!
- Order: Almost everything in the buffet
- Watered Down Chinese Food, Bad Service.

They can get very rude sometimes. And they like to change prices if you decide to deliver and it doesn't exceed 20 dollars.
Out of a lot of Chinese restaurant that I have been to in this Chinatown, this one is the most tasteless.
It is pretty cheap, but Lucky Dragon is right beside them and they are cheaper, they give you more, they are very polite and it's REAL Chinese food.
This place gets a lot of business though, I don't know why. I guess lots of people like basic tasting food, who knows.
But if you want real Chinese food (and what I mean by REAL Chinese food is that Chinese food tastes better than any other food because Chinese food is the BEST),
Go to Lucky Dragon.
- Order: A lot of stuff.

I've lived in Chinatown my entire life. I am half Cantonese, and raised Cantonese. My father cooks Cantonese and we are very picky on Chinese food and what we consider "real" chinese food.
New Ho King is right beside this restaurant, and yes it is cleaner but they cannot cook anywhere NEAR as excellent as this place.
As the first review stated, You can't beat lucky dragon other than Lee Garden, but Even I can say that Lee Garden isn't what it use to be, thus I would prefer Lucky Dragon for Authentic old skewl REAL Chinese food.
The lemon chicken is the best lemon chicken you'll ever have, and it's in large quantity. Most of their dishes are Large Quantity and very reasonable in price.
HOWEVER....
The kitchen isn't very clean. And the restaurant in general isn't very clean which is prolly why New Ho King gets most of the business.
I will sacrifice the decor for the taste but Sometimes the cut isn't good. sometimes you'll get a bone here and there or some grits, and if you order for take out, double check what you're eating (small fly might get in there).
If they cleaned up just a little bit, they would be the best restaurant in the city.
And the one waitress guy that can speak english is very nice, and is an excellent server.
the late night chef cooks better than the day time one.
- Order: General Tso Chicken, Beef Chow Mein (both cantonese and Schezuan style), Lemon Chicken, Chicken w/BlackBean Sauce on Rice Noodle, and many more.
