I convinced my friends to go to the Greek Souvlaki house after reading these reviews. Thanks to everyone here for fair and accurate reviews!!! We were not sure what to expect but we left full and satisfied.
The breakfast menu is a bit small, however, it's quite adequate. You just don't see a million combinations like other places. You either want eggs, omelletes, or pancakes. Would be nice to see just a few more items added for variety.
The prices are CHEAP! My meal was a classic breakky with 2eggs, toast, LOTS of bacon (5 or 6 strips), a huge mound of fried potatoes, and a half orange, plus coffe. Bill came to $7 before tip. That is very good compared to most restaurants.
My only gripe, and it's a SMALL GRIPE, is that the fried potatoes were more like french fries. They were deep fried wedges....I was expecting something more like boiled potatoes fried with veggies, as most Europeans do....however....they were still well done, and very good.
Portion sizes are pretty large (big fruit, lots of bacon, lots of potatoes), so either arrive hungry, or be prepared to take home a doggie bag.
Service was excellent. Friendly and VERY FAST, and yet, we were NOT rushed. We'll definitely come back again!!!
