Love this place. Quaint, friendly, good food. Always get the gyros and they are delicious. Family likes the hummus and stuffed grape leaves, meat pies, baklava, everything is good, place is clean and prices are reasonable for the portions served.

One of the best fishmongers in Richmond. I am very sorry they closed....now there is no where to get fresh fish and other specialty gourmet items.

LET'S JUST SAY, ONE OF THE COOKS EXCUSED HIMSELF FROM THE GRILL, WALKED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE, CLEARED HIS THROAT AND SPAT IN THE TRASH CAN.....YUCK

Terrible neighborhood, horrible food, underdone shrimp and the cooking area does not look clean....watch out for foodborne illnesses.

Why would you have cats running loose in a store that sells food equipment and supplies and holds cooking classes? I wouldn't even buy pre-wrapped merchandise from this place...it should be classified as a PET STORE and smells like cat urine!

Just because they are smoked doesn't mean that you can leave the silver skin on the ribs...silver skin does not cook away, it just makes it more tasteless. I have lost respect for Bobby Flay's opinion in food....they just haven't had an opportunity to taste REAL BBQ

This is a new restaurant and the portions are plentiful and delicious. The crab cakes were as big as softballs and full of nothing but LUMP crab meat. The collard greens were so tender they melted in my mouth. The pork chops with gravy looked like porterhouse steaks with gravy and delicioso and oh so tender. The new place was just as clean and the former location and the service was great. Don't miss out on going to Lucille's Southern Cuisine at the corner of Creighton Road and Laburnum Avenue. If they could just stay open a little longer with their new liquor license. This place is guaranteed to be swamped when the NASCAR races come to town. I don't think they'll have time for the regular customers, but it's definitely worth the wait and the price!

It is not only dirty, but the wait staff is rude and they seem to feel like because they are a so-called "soul food" restaurant they have a sense of entitlement. NOT SO Croaker's Spot, your food is horrible and the service is even worse. I have heard too many people say this was a good place and had to set the record straight. I will NEVER spend money there again. I passed the restaurant (and I use the term loosely) one morning and their supplies had been left on the sidewalk, although a security guard was out there, when I checked back 45 minutes later the supplies were still on the sidewalk and some of them were marked perishable, FROZEN....this is the WORST eating establishment in Richmond, it cannot be classified as a restaurant. Just remember, there are other much better RESTAURANTS, i.e., Lucille's Southern Cuisine that are not only CLEAN, but the staff is very well-versed in customer service. Can't wait for the health department to condemn you and CLOSE THE PLACE. Oh, by the way, Bobby Flay's endorsement doesn't carry much weight when you have that much dirt!
