The teriyaki sauce doesn't even taste like teriyaki, first of all. Do they buy it from Loblaws?
Sushi here is never good. The rice is hard, and not enough stuff inside the rolls. The sashimi, if you can call it that, still taste frozen.
The service is not acceptable either. All these Chinese - and what they call "Japanese fusion all you can eat restaurants" forget some orders.

Horrible food, so-so service!
There is so much rice, I cant even see the stuff inside the rolls! The fish is suuuuuuuper thin, its like you're getting full by eating just rice.
What is the tempura batter made out of? Its hard, not crispy! They can't even cook soybeans properly! The served it to us when it was still hard inside!
Not impressed.
- Order: nigiri sushi, sashimi, maki, tempura, grilled fish, ice cream

Firstly, this restaurant has nice furniture! The tables and chairs..... wow!
Anyway, the quality of the food was great! The soup bowls are large and the beef was fresh. The meat was a bit expensive but it was filling.
The side dishes are good too~ though I had better kimchi at other restaurants. The onions were good~Will go back again, thank you.

I've been here several times and the food is always good. Im surprised with the number of negative comments, but they can't satisfy everyone right.
I find that what ever I order, it's always delicious. The pizza is homemade and you can actually see the guy making it. You ask for extra tomatos on the pizza and they do it for you. Great service.
- Order: pizza and pasta

Very nice Korean restaurant, though I wouldn't say the best one. I would expect their prices to be a bit lower but that wasn't the case.
The traditional Korean food was very tasty but I do not recommend their Japanese fusion meals, such as the sushi and sashimi since it is over priced compared to other Japanese restaurants.
The service was quick and the waitresses/waitors are friendly.

Immitation Japanese food? I think so. Horrible place. This restaurant should not be operating.
The waitress forgot our order so the food came to us 45 minutes later, cold! Not to mention that it's over-priced.We ordered softshell crab and the waitress asked "Tonkatsu style or temputer style" WHAT IS THAT? can't they just deep fry it the proper way? It tasted like deep fried ROCKS, none the less.
The only thing that was actually decent were the drinks.
I do not recommend this restaurants for first timers-you will get the wrong impression of Japanese food!

I am shocked with all these negative reviews. People have been eating at way too many Chinese owned sushi restaurants!
A really quiet restaurant on Bank St. Its quite hidden from the rest of the store near it but the quality of the food is nothing like any other restaurant.
Really good authentic Japanese food! A bit pricey, but what do you expect for REAL Japanese food, right?!They serve meals that are quite traditional in Japanese cuisine, I thought. Natto and shishamo was on the menu. I thought only restaurants in Japan served those types of food ^^
The service was quick and food was great!I heard the chefs and waitresses, as well as the owners are Japanese too.
Definitely recommend it~

I've had better chicken panang at my friend's house. The panang was kind of watery and there wasn't lot of chicken.
Pad Thai was ok, but a very small portion was served.
They have a large selection of drinks :)

Really good food! Super fast service when it's not busy.
I had a long piece of hair in my food when I ordered pork the one day. Beware!
But the soups are good! Kimchi is #1 in Ottawa!
Most likely the best Korean restaurant in Ottawa. - Order: m6 and m7
