Really, this was banal Italian. I'd like to recall what we ate, but it was SO dreary, that I can't recall it. For the price, it was palatable, but I wouldn't ever make it a special night out. The bread they gave us for dipping was fresh, and warm, and that was very nice.
- Order: A warm salad of some sort, maybe?

I come here all the time. I don't have a pallette for authentic roti dishes, but I have a pallette for flavour, and these flavours are amazing! The hot sauce is fiery, with a hint of habanero, but it can be taken in decent quantity.
The beef roti is a staple of many of the people I work with. I don't deviate too far from that choice. The meat is tender and not mushy, and the same holds true of the potatoes. The sauce is divine, and the actual roti wrap is bursting with flavourful heat. - Order: Beef roti

The food here is an incredible value, with excellent ingredients, and it is all super fresh. I would recommend sticking to the dumplings because they've become very concious about how clean the front of the house is, where the dumplings are made. I still don't trust anything from the back of the house.
Yes, there were rats in there, and it was a bit filthy before that incident. It is much better now. My stomach may be stronger than most, though, because I've worked in some great food service places, and no matter how clean it appears to be, every commercial kitchen HAS RATS AND COCKROACHES! You just have to deal with it, and hope the inspectors are doing their jobs.

This is one of those places that has got a great combination - incredible amount of well prepared food, that is of superior quality to most other Japanese restaurants. Truly a gem - If you're going for lunch with a big crowd, get there early (11:45AM) or you'll be waiting for a while. Otherwise, they usually have plenty of room
Food for thought: This restaurant has incredible turn over. They value efficiency. For example, if, when ordering, you take 5 minutes and haven't thought ahead, they will ignore you. If you take 2-3 minutes ahead of time and figure out what you'd like to eat, and then flag down a waiter, they'll treat you well.

This is a greasy burger joint, plain and simple. They are open late, and in an easy access location, meaning that the next time I'm drunk, I'll be heading back there. Frankly, a Whopper has better taste than their burger, but their greasy onion rings are decent.
- Order: Onion rings, Apache burger.

The food here is amazing. I say that, even though I only get the 'vegetable combo plate with meat', which is hummous, baba gannoush, falafel, beef or chicken, and tabbouleh. It is enough of a sampling for me to make that judgement. Luckily, they're spending their money on fresh ingredients, and not on interior decoration. If you don't care to sit at a table with a thick see-through plastic covering, and 30 year old looking chairs, then don't go here. And that's a good thing, because there'll be more food for me!
My beautiful girlfriend had the same thing, and she loved it - except that I cleaned my plate and she barely dented it. The portions are LARGE!
- Order: Vegetable combo plate with beef, diet Coke.

The reviews turned us onto this place. The food turned us off. We had the Agnellotti Justin and the Ricotta Cannelloni.
Angellotti Justin - Mushroom stuffed angelotti. Stuffing was gritty, with a creamy pesto sauce that could have come out of a can. The pasta was al dente.
Ricotta Cannelloni - unflavoured sauce that was just crushed tomatoes, and little flavour. We poured my overly rich sauce on the canelloni, and it made it palatable.
Overall, very disappointed. And, there were no nonnas in the kitchen. - Order: Angellotti Justin, Ricotta Cannelloni
