The walls were lime green. My view was a concrete wall through a chain link fence topped with razor wire, seen through a cracked window. I had plenty of time to contemplate it as I waited for the waitress to bring the soggy bread, the overcooked pasta, and the meatballs made of an indeterminate material. Zesty certainly wasn't a good description of their 'special' sauce, which Chef Boyardee does better. I've been there three times. I'm not sure why. I'll never go back.

It's a pleasant restaurant with an unpretentious atmosphere. The penne was al dente. The chicken in the chicken cacciatore was slightly soggy, but basically fine, but I found the tomato sauce lacking in complexity. The selection of vegetarian items wasn't huge. The coffee was good. .
