  • Had our family function, 50 people, last weekend and everything was excellent. We had a terrible experience at another restaurant last year and I was a bit nervous about having another party at a restaurant, but Frank came highly recommended as someone that we could trust and once we booked our party with him, we thought so too, so we went ahead and I am so glad we did. He is very honest and upfront about everything. We didn't have to worry about anything, when we paid the bill everything was exactly as it should be!! The staff, Rob, Angie and Gary were amazing (even with some of m y"hard to please" guests) ! We all enjoyed the food and service, I sent them an email but I hope they read this as well! I am not in the area very often, but I hope to get my family back there for dinner very soon!

  • I dragged my family to this restaurant all the way from Newmarket. I saw a pic and a review and thought it was somewhere i wanted to try out. Although it wasn't horrible, it was dissapointing. First they present you with a basket of bread that had to have been at least two days old, even with the olive oil they had poured over it. That's my pet peeve with restaurants, if you don't have fresh bread, don't serve it at all!
They charge $10 for an eggplant parmigianno appetizer that was so small it was basically two bites. Tiny, tiny appetizer portions. Not what you expect from a rustic italian restaurant. The pizza crust was dry and not what we expected and the gnocci smorazza was good but was drowning in sauce. Very small restaurant, rather dated. I was really pulling for this restaurant. But i just can't give it a very good review.

  • RUN! don't walk away from this restaurant! This was our alltime worst meal ever! Most of our meal was not eaten! The french onion soup was basically hot salted water with melted cheese...they obviously watered it down to make more. My son ordered a simple chicken club sandwich that was anything but! it was a piece of dried out chicken on a stale bun with melted CHEDDER cheese on it! The mousakka was so dried out and bland that after two fork fulls I simply had to stop eating. We ordered a kids meal for my younger son and we wouldn't allow him to eat it. It was little hard pieces of what was supposed to be a chicken dish! The server simply removed our plates when we asked for the bill and didn't even question why our food was not eaten, perhaps he didn't have to. This was a weeknight and the restaurant was barely half full, there is absolutely no excuse to this! I wanted to bring the food back to the kitchen myself and tell the cooks to eat it themselves or ask them if they would serve such garbage to their kids! This food can't even be compared to fast food...i would have rather fed my children McDonalds that night! After paying over $80 for our meal, we had to go home an have sandwiches! We eat out at least twice a week and have spent more at some restaurants and less at others but have always been at least satisfied...you wont be the least bit satisfied here...like i said....RUN don't walk away from this restaurant! they don't deserve your business.
