I love this place for good, reasonably priced Indian food. It's never busy, but they seem to do a good take-out business. Creamier dishes - such as paneer makhani or butter chicken - are the best bet. Service is always prompt and friendly.

Based on the lack of reviews you would think this place is a hidden gem. Fresh ingredients, interesting combinations, and an affordable wine list - what more could you ask for? The goat cheese pizza with madras curry spices sounds odd, but it's a wonderful combination.

I completely agree with the other reviews - this place is awful. The menu said the chile relleno was filled with cheese and "seasonal vegetables" - I didn't see any cheese and the "seasonal vegetables" were green beans. The sauce was bland and strangely bitter. The sides were obviously prepared ahead of time and were overcooked and cold. The margaritas were okay, but not great by any means. The service was indifferent and the patio was cramped and infested with wasps. I will absolutely never go back there.
- Order: Vege Chile Relleno, Beef enchilada, lime margaritas

So cheap. So good. Very friendly service. The place is tiny but it's worth the wait for a table. You'll leave full and happy. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

I had dinner at Alice Fazooli's last night and was very impressed with the food, especially since I have had bad luck with Italian chains. We initially decided to go there because it was a warm evening and we had heard that the patio was very nice, which it was. They have a decent wine selection and I was happy to get a nice bottle of pinot grigio for only $25. The pizza was definitely the highlight - crisp crust, yummy gorgonzola, pears and just a touch of honey. Delicious. The salad was also good, although it did not come with spiced pecans as advertised. The chocolate gelato was one of the best I've had in Toronto - very creamy with an intense chocolate flavour. Service was friendly and attentive.
- Order: quattro formaggio & pear pizza, arugula & spinach salad, white wine, chocolate gelato
- A sophisticated dining experience

I find it hard to believe that anyone giving George a bad review has actually been there. Two friends took me there for my birthday dinner and it was a lovely experience. We each got the tasting menu (vegetarian for me, regular for them) and we were all blown away by the food.
The "surprise" tasting menu consists of six courses chosen by the chef. Everyone received something different at each course. The ingredients were all fresh, mostly local, and in season. It's evident that a lot of thought and care goes into this food.
We also had a series of wonderful servers, one of whom in particular seemed to know everything about the large selection of wines and made several excellent recommendations for us. The price makes this restaurant a "special occasion only" place for me, but I'll definitely be back some time.
- Order: Vegetarian tasting menu, Wine

I've been to the Foggy Dew for brunch a few times and have always enjoyed the food. We went recently for dinner and I was not as impressed. As a vegetarian I can't eat most of the menu items and the veggie burger is not good. The bun was dry and stale, and the burger was mushy and cold on the inside. Others had more traditional pub fare and were pretty happy with it. The day we were there something was wrong with the taps so they didn't have any draft beer (!). Our server came up to our table and said rather abruptly "What do you want to drink. We don't have draft". We looked at her a bit blankly and which point she sighed, rolled her eyes, and started tapping her pen on her hand very impatiently. She was extremely rude for the rest of the evening. I think this was an anomoly, though, because generally I've had quite good service here.
- Order: Emerald Isle burger, Irish Stew, all day Irish Fry

Dinner at Blowfish was an exceedingly annoying experience. We took a friend for her birthday and it ended up costing us all a fortune for food that no one even liked. I ordered the Okinawan roll, which contains yam, banana and avocado. It seemed weird, but I wanted to try something different. It was so gross that it was almost a blessing that the portion was so small. The Saketini was fine, but not worth the $15 I paid for it. The service was slow and the restaurant was so loud that no one could have a conversation. Will not be heading back there any time soon.
- Order: Okinawan, x-rated saketini

Four is unique in that it offers "gourmet" fare that is diet friendly. The portions are small, but filling enough. The desserts are definitely the best part. The server brings out a long tray with several tiny shot glasses. Each one is a different dessert - Key Lime pie, chocolate mousse, etc. We choose several and shared because they all looked so good.
- Order: Buckweat noodles in miso broth, several desserts
- Beautiful, tasty raw food

Everything about this restaurant is beautiful. It has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere and it's obvious that an amazing level of care is put into every dish. The food was spectacular and even after eating a lot I still felt great. I guess that is the wonderful thing about raw food! This restaurant is quite pricey, but considering the quality of the ingredients and the amount of work that goes into preparing the dishes, it's completely worth the price
- Order: spicy thai lettuce wraps, chili lime tortilla wraps, classic sundae
