The China Blossom was shut down for over a week in January 2009 per order of the North Andover health department for unsafe food temperature and storage, poor food preparation, and "multiple other critical concerns."
After addressing "sanitation and cleaning" issues, they were allowed to reopen, on the condition they do not serve sushi. According to the February issue of the Valley Patriot, this is not the first time the health department has closed the China Blossom.
I ate there once, just for appetisers and drinks, and found it overpriced and bland. Luckily, I did not become ill. I will not be going back.

With such a large selection of food you can't go wrong. The deserts aren't that good but after trying so many other dishes who has room for desert? The buffet is well stocked, the waitress removed our dirty dishes promptly and the atmosphere is nice for a couple or a family. This is my birthday dinner resturant.
- Order: We had the buffet. It is a huge selection of foods from soups, fruit, seafood, prime rib, duck, meat dishes, veggies, egg rolls,to cake and ice cream deserts. The tea is complimentary and we each had a Mai Tai.
