  • We have eaten here many times but I have decided that Friday was the last. Any place that has as ridiculous of a policy as Tiffany's has regarding getting a box for a meal that was not entirely eaten, which WAS PAID FOR, their asking price even, is completely out of line!!! We purchased the salad bar and a meal, a portion of the meal (NOT the salad bar) was not eaten and I had to ask numerous times for a box. My dad, who is elderly, could only eat 1/2 of his piece of pie and that too was like pulling teeth to get a take home box for. Their policy is absolutely ridiculous. I can understand not being allowed to take home part of the salad bar but the meal that a person purchases is completely a different element. I don't care that they say "no doggie bags" on a portion of their menu. They put a price on a meal, you pay for it, it's the consumer's descretion at that point as to whether or not they take it home or let it there to be thrown away. There were 3 of us and the bill was a few cents shy of $40.00. This is the only restaurant I have ever been to with this type of policy and we will not be a patron to this establishment simply because of their policy. I agree also with a prior review, from now on we will visit the restaurant across the road and just down the street. Apparently Tiffany's would rather do without our 1/2 a dozen or so visits a year, with a bill of $40-80.00 per visit for a few cent styrofoam take home box!!

  • I do not know how this restaurant got such great reviews but we were there Saturday evening for the buffet and I have never seen such a sorry excuse for a buffet before in my life. Very small with hardly anything to pick from. The soup was luke warm. For being an Amish restaurant the food did not taste all that great. Only had chicken and shrimp on the buffet along with mashed potatoes and gravy, noodles, peas & carrots. Dessert was nothing to brag about. Only a few thing to choose from. Seems that from the time I called to inquire about the price the same day that it went up by $2.00 by the time we got there. Cost of the buffet was $11.95 Way to much for the food they served. Save yourself the time going here and go on down the road a bit and eat at the other restaurant across the street. They do have homemade bread, homemade salad dressings and lots of pies to choose from for dessert along with soft serve ice cream. The cost is also cheaper. You get a ton more variety to choose from and more homemade tasting. I will not go back to this restaurant. Not worth the price.

  • Order: Saturday night buffet

  • We ate there yesterday and were very impressed. We were looking for an Amish restaurant that wasn't commercialized and wasn't mainly operated by the Amish, just to support them and not those just built up around and profiting from them. The owner, Fritz, is a former Amish man, and all but two women in the kitchen are Amish, and the other two Mennonite. The waitresses were Mennonite and English. We went for the chicken lunch buffet and it was delicious. The cream of potato soup was out of this world. It was really the best we've EVER had, and that's saying a lot, since I order it everywhere. The mashed potatoes and chicken gravy were also fantastic, and the fried chicken too. We just wish there had been a pie of some kind on the dessert buffet. Every thing was great, including the service. The restaurant and bathrooms were so very clean.

  • Order: Fried Chicken buffet, with soup, and salad bar.

  • We have visited Tiffany's before and have always been more than satisfied. The restaurant is in an Amish community and most of the employees are Amish including the cooks. It appears that most all the food is made from scratch. They also offer a large selection of pies and they do use real mashed potatoes. Their prices are very reasonable. It is a restaurant we enjoy visiting.

  • Order: I ordered the "All you Can Eat Soup & Salad Bar" which offers a couple hot dishes on the bar. Today the hot dishes were homemade noodles and chipped beef on a biscuit. There is also desserts such as bread pudding, chocolate putdding dessert and fresh fruit. Also available for salads is the regular green vegetables, turkey. ham, egg.croutons, and sunflower seeds. My husband had a Pork Manhattan which had a generous helping of pork, real mashed potatoes covered with gravy. He had a Pepsi for his drink which the waitress kept the refills coming.
