Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

I just am not impressed by this locale. I think it is loud no matter what time of day you are there. I miss the intamate feel of the old location in Scottsdale. Where you felt you had some privacy instead of being right there with everybody else. Our service was pretty good, though we did have a distant family member working there (that we had no idea about until later) so that may have had something to do with it. Prior visits we had less than stellar service. The food was good, served hot. The chili con carne though is a far cry from their "original" recipe. They also changed the fries on the kids plates. YUCK. Our kids wouldn't even touch them and when I tried them it was sickening. They had way to much garlic flavor for a Mexican place. They should just stick with plain ole' fries for the kiddies or offer an option.

We visit Hacienda at least once a week. The food is usually always good, I wouldn't say great, but its good for the money. We usually stick with the simple stuff like wet burritos or enchildas, sometimes regular shredded beef tacos. Our favorite thing about Hacienda is on Tuesday they have $2.00 mugs of margaritas and on Wednesday they have $1.00 glass of margaritas and on Friday liters of margaritas for $10.00 and let me tell you they are the best, yummiest margaritas ever!! Oh yeh and we can't forget about the unlimited free chips and salsa:)

i really like the food but there was a long wait. prices were good. there need to be more around town so the wait will be shorter

Good food for the price and great service.
