The coffee is good. The muffalettas are filling for a surprisingly low price. The chowder is great, especially during grey South Bend afternoons. The beignets are an extraordinary treat -- never had anything like them outside of New Orleans.
The wi-fi is free. The owners are friendly, and happy to have folks studying for hours. This is exactly the sort of independent establishment that South Bend should be encouraging and cultivating more of.
My only complaint? The seating is a bit uncomfortable.

Ever since visiting New Orleans last summer, we had been craving mufalettas. This place had them and they were great! Also extremely rich, tasty gelato for dessert. A great place for lunch and convenient downtown location.
