Review: I don't know why everyone gets so excited about Penny's. Its really average, bland Thai food. I think people flock to it because it has a very Americanized atmosphere, and haven't had anything better. Try Chi Tung! 95th & Kedzie - worth the drive!

Review: To call it cheap would be insulting but where else can you go for good, fresh, authentic food for two and spend less than $30? The BYOB element makes it even more attractive. Food is tasty, service is good and the place is always bustling around dinner time. My girlfriend and I try to go a couple of times a month.

Review: I was really excited about trying Penny's because some friends recommended it to us. The service was okay and the food was bland. I'm not ready to give up. I will try it again, just once more to be sure they weren't having an off day.

Review: I've been Penny's loyal customer for about 5 years.
I like experimenting and trying new restaurants, but so far, I keep coming back to Penny's Noodle Shop as they are the best.
I like their Sesame Beef noodle - it is served chilled on a bed of veggies (lettuce, carrots, bean sprouts) with a generous amount of meat - the beef is very deliciously marinated and tastes succulent.
The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, and the staff is friendly.

Review: I have been dining in this place for about 5 years already, and so far, I haven't found a better Thai restaurant. I like experimenting and trying new places, but every time, I keep coming back to Penny's Noodle shop as so far they are the best!
I like their sesame beef noodle the most - it is served chilled on a bed of vegetables - bean sprouts, carrots, lettuce. There is a generous amount of meat - the beef is very deliciously marinated and extremely succulent.
The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, the staff is friendly.
