Varsity Club

We try to go at least once a week. Go early on weekends to get a table. Outstanding sandwiches and burgers - been going for years now and never had anything but great food. Value is excellent, and there are usually two or three specials on the board. Big menu with tons of variety. One of my favorite places in the area.

Varsity club is nearby to us and my 5 year old son loves the atmosphere and games, otherwise I wouldn't go back. I just had to write because tonight we rec'd cold fries, undercooked burgers and rotten lettuce, both in the salad and on the burger. I let our server know and he promptly responded by replacing the items. However, my complaint is lodged against the owner who was there at the time and didn't acknowledge us in the least. I didn't request a refund or a coupon for future visits. I would have, however, liked to have asked the owner to ensure that the food is fresh and properly cooked when we return. I have always gotten the feeling that the owners really don't care about their customers. I know it's not a 4 star restaurant or anything, but I don't think it's too much to ask for them to keep black lettuce off my plate and to cook our burgers to order.
