I give this restaurant a 0 out of 10!
My Husband and my two friends went out to celebrate my first break from my two and a half month old baby girl and went to SamPan Restaurant.
We went in the place was dirty and the table cloths were stained and ripped open, but being the people we are we still ordered.
The waitress was very rude and the food was not good at all. After our meal we asked for the leftovers to be boxed up and upon that request they denied it then called us "bad customers, and @$$hole customers". My friends went out to get their wallet in the car and just ignored the yelling coming from the so called "store owner". The cooks, waiters and all the people who worked there surrounded the car still calling us @$$holes and demanding to be paid or they would call the cops.
My friend and my husband said cool off we are just
getting the wallet and walked back into the restaurant. Again they asked to get their food boxed up and again we were denied of the food that we already ate out of. My husband and friend asked why can't we have it? you'll just be throwing it out right? they said uhhh....yes. (In my opinion I think the reason why they want the unfinished food is because they want to refry it and give it to other people to eat, the rice was very hard and flavorless like it was refried)
While my husband and my friend was inside trying to work out something so we could take the food my other friend wanted to drive around so she could just pick them up after they paid for the food. There was a guy in the back of her car when she started it and he pounded very hard on the trunk. She replied to him stop pounding on the car my husband is inside paying for it, get away from the car. I jumped out of the car and my husband and my friend were still in there getting yelled at by the owner. I had enough and I picked up the plate of food and I said to her listen all we want is our food just bag it up we will pay then we are never coming back to this place.
In return to that comment she told me to shut up and we were @$$hole customers multiple times and I got a bit upset and said no you shut up.
I got so upset that I just walked out and sat in the car.
My husband was in there still trying to talk it over and she said to him "would you kill a baby? cause that is what you are doing to us" he answered "NO what does killing a baby have to do with eating at a restaurant? The guy behind the counter said just pay us. They replied we will we just want our food boxed up. He replied okay just as long as you pay, they are a hard family to deal with I will talk to her later."
They picked up the take out boxes and gave it to the woman that was yelling at us and she proceeded to slam the food in the take out boxes and put them in a bag and left it on the table. We paid like we said we would and we didn't get an apology or anything for being treated such as this. I'll never go back and I'm making sure I put the word out there that SamPan is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at.
