You don’t need to be a food snob or gourmet eater to just remember how bad cafeteria food was in school. One reason you brought your own sack lunch or even went to MacDonalds just to get away from institutional low grade food dished up by Beauty School Drop outs that could make it and couldn’t speak English. Well that should give you a clue as to where this review is going. Honestly, I wanted to give it a chance so I actually had 4 plates of different food choices hoping something would finally be good. Good is just get by food. However, after dishing out over $25 for two of us I was compelled to leave my mark here just as they left their mark in my upset stomach. Here’s the course, chicken noodle soup warm, not hot, other than a chicken stock and pepper flavor nothing to get excited about, next was deep fried shrimp, deep fried fish and something that looked like deep fried balls not sure what was in it. All the fried food was cold probably because they had the cold air conditioning on in the room and the hot light heaters couldn’t compete. All fried food was like over cooked and dried out. Hungry, so I actually ate the shrimp with tarter which saved the dried out cold shrimp. Next was a plate with mashed potatoes (obviously instant mashed potatoes made with water and you could see through it) and brown gravy also instant and low quality and a piece of sirloin steak medium rare looking, 2 bites and I had to classify it as the worst piece of meat I every tasted, chewy low grade meat, probably frozen them quick grilled on the outside then still rare looking but uncooked on the inside and no blood a tell tale sign of frozen meat, and a special which they called Baby Back Ribs, this was no babies just tough cold white pork meat with heavy sugar glaze of some sort. My Grand mother used to tell me put SUGAR on anything even s h i t and it’s taste good enough for the peasants. YES this is peasant food of the lowest grade produced and served up by ALL MEXICAN’Ts nothing racial here just FACTS Mexicans can’t cook except for beans and cheese. I lived in Mexico on the coast where the food was suppose to be good but ALL Mexicans over cook and burn their meat so it’s as tough as your shoe soles. If you like that kind of cooking which is a sign that you’ve never been trained in your life then so be it. Apparently this place was packed with Mexicans so it’s probably like home cooking to them. What was strange was everyone in the Kitchen was Mexican and all the waitresses were WHITE Americans. You have to wonder why that is? The Food only got worse, I tried a baked Potato not sure if it was GMO – “Genetically modified organism” The Potato was hard, had no flavor, was very starchy and I couldn’t identify it as a Potato? Add salt and butter and it tasted like salt and butter nothing more. I tried a favorite treat of mine, a Cinnamon roll, not this time, how could you ruin a Cinnamon roll, just go the Country Buffet and you’ll see why! The majority of people eating at Country Buffet are obese to say it mildly lot’s of women that are close to 300 lbs and no wonder. Obese people don’t have a clean palate due to the parasite living in their mouth and intestines, these parasite crave sugar and can’t distinguish tasting foods so quantity equals quality. However the effect is the opposite and they turns your body into sickness. This is a new culture of food that is being served up at cafeteria styled low end kitchens run by uneducated and untrained people that don’t really know any better and dish up slop that is peppered with MSG and GMO materials that are beginning to become UFOs –Unidentified Food Objects into our daily lives. Better to stay home a COOK a REAL MEAL.

  • The food was okay, but some was cold and rubbery since it sat there too long. It took forever to have someone come to our table to take away plates we were done with. I felt that for the price ($35.00 for a family of 5) it was overpriced and we could have gotten a better meal elsewhere.

  • Order: This is a buffet, so we had a little of everything. I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, jello, fish, bread, and icecream sundae for dessert

  • It's a buffet so Its overall good. They started a new thing by adding steak to the buffet. It's good, not top knotch like some steak places. I had mainly fat on mine, i ate at least 6 bites of a steak til I got to the fat. Over all i like it for a buffet

  • Order: steak, chicken, fries, pizza, diet coke and apple cobbler
