Island Restaurant

I love these hamburgers and fries. Usually this is not my type of meal, but i love the burgers here.

The food is great. The people are friendly. The service is quick (most of the time). If they make a mistake, they take care of it no problem. It is one of our regular stops.

I've been going to islands for several years now. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere and they've always had good food. They usually have great servers. The one we had this particular night was very nice and upbeat.

i will give islands a B+ for atmosphere, it was not too loud, people seemed to enjoy themselves. Service could be better, we only saw our waitress 3 times, taking our order, bringing our bill and once to ask if everything was ok. a separate person refilled my drink after i asked, a different person brought my food, and a third sat us without bringing eating utensils. food was overall tasty but seemed kinda high for what it was. i'd go back but i'd hope they would have better service and maybe drop their prices a tiny bit. we ate on a saturday night about 6pm, sat down immediately and overall it wasnt crowded enough for them to semi ignore us. maybe they were understaffed, but it did seem like the bar was getting better service and attention.
