  • Wonderful. The restaurant claims to use only fresh ingredients procured during the morning, and only maintains a small freezer to keep their homemade ice creams and such frozen. Everything was fabulous. I've never had foie gras before, and it was delicious. The Oro was very nice, served much like fresh tuna.

  • Order: Sonoma Artisan Foie Gras with Half Moon Bay English Pea and Carrrot Flan and Housemade Lamb Pancetta, Hawaiian Oro with Wilgenburg Green Tomato Carpaccio, WHite Anchovy and Chickpea Vinagrette, French Toast with Blackberry Compote and black pepper ice cream, wine

  • A fine meal in a surprisingly nice restaurant; I was surprised to find a fine dining restaurant inside a hotel (Marriot).
A Parcel 104 you get a chef's meal, but with some flexibility -- you choose from about 6 options in 3 categories: starter, entree and dessert.
We started off well with a complimentary, delicious pea soup from the chef and some fresh bread. Then came the pinot noir flight. The 3 wines chosen were a good mix of fruity, spicy and strong.
Even though I'm not big on pork, I had the pork belly and I'm glad I did. It came with a delicious braised, baby bok choy and a pot sticker stuffed with crab -- very nice!
The entree was quite good, but not entirely to my taste. Fresh Alaskan halibut, encrusted with chorizo crumbs on a fennel/onion mixture. I'm not sure about the taste combo, but it was well presented and I enjoyed it, so oh well.
The creme brulee dessert was really good, one of the best I've ever had and presented quite differently, custard on bottom with 2 caramel wafers on top, coated and surrounded by a bit of caramel. Yum!
I loved Bradley Ogden's restaurant in Vegas, and really like this one.
    Recommended!

  • Order: pinot noir wine flight, six-hour braised pork belly, alaskan halibut, Napolean creme brulee
