Mario's Place

Review: First and formost the service was lacking. The Calamari was like rubber and the spegetti was hard and meat balls taste like somrthing you get at Stater Bros. I'm mean come on Italian food forget about it's not even close. Was not impressed at all. Vitello's in Burbank Ca not that's real Italian food. Need to work on it a Little bit, Little bit. Got no pictures of Bobby D on the wall?

Review: I absolutely love Mario's Place and I feel so fortunate to have such an outstanding restaurant in provincial Riverside, CA. The service is exemplary, the atmosphere and the decor promote a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, and the food is incredible. I highly recommend the porcini mushroom risotto.

Review: Even though Mario's Place is more than 50 miles from our home, my husband and I often go there for special occasions because Mario's Place is truly a special restaurant. Customers are greeted and treated like valued guests, and the service is always impeccable. The decor is elegant and conducive to a relaxing dining experience. Tables are comfortably spaced, and the noise level is not excessive. Servers are knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine list and ours have made some excellent recommendations. The menu items are varied enough to please most tastes, and along with the specials, reflect the culinary talents of Leone Palagi, one of three brothers who are responsible for the restaurant's success. Andrea oversees the dining room and stops to chat with guests, while Arigo keeps everything running smoothly in the bar. Mario's Place is a class act, one that we will return to again and again.

Review: Mario's is the dining gem of the Inland Empire. The restaurant and bar are beautiful and classy without being stuffy or pretentious. The food is amazing and the wine selections are out of this world! The service is always top notch. Chef Leone is a true master - the dishes that he prepares are so delicious and flavorful, not to mention beautiful. Mario's live music makes for a really fun night out. All in all, Mario's Place is the best dining experience in town!

Review: Mario's place has the class of a high end metrpolitan restaurant, and yet at the same time the friendliness of a local family tratoria. The Palagi brothers have refined the concept their father Mario started 20+ years ago in Riverside. Chef Leone Palagi does a great job on every single dish, while brother Andrea and Arigo make sure the staff is well trained and everything runs smoothly. Live music is offered every Friday and Saturday.

Every item on the menu is fantastic. The calamari and squash blossom appetizers are great. The pizzas have a thin, crisy crust and are honestly one of the best I've ever had. The mushroom ravioli is rich and filled with fresh mushrooms. The lamb is absolutely world class. Mario's is our favorite restaurant for a reason - great quality and taste every on every single item!

Review: The atmosphere at Mario's Place is warm and friendly, a perfect refuge from my daily grind. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, your experience is very important to them. I've often likened Mario's to my own personal "Cheers", a place where everybody knows my name (but still likes me). Take the time to visit Mario's Place, even if it's just for a glass of wine, a checca pizza and some smooth jazz on a Saturday night. I guarantee you will not regret it!
