We are regulars to Salaang Pass. We always find the service to be terrific--they are very accommodating to our wishes. The food is superb, very tasty, well prepared and artfully served. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. If you've a mind to (and the knees for it), it's fun to sit on the cushions in the simulated "tent" as if you were a "native."

The ambiance is great, with the option to sit on large cushions. The food is carefully prepared and delicious. Sometimes the service is slow, but that is because they are so busy!

This would be one of the best Afghan restaurant in bay area. The kabaobs are so flavorful. Bolani is good as well. Definitely worth the price you pay. Service is little on the slower side. But the taste of food compensates for the wait time
