Jet lagged, not impressed with the rain and dreading the 2-hour drive in the fog to Nanaimo. I needed a coffee this morning more than I needed to know my own name.
This little place changed the tone of my day from the moment I walked in. At first blush, it looked a little like Starbucks, only I didn't need to learn a new language to order. And no Starbucks attitude.
I like coffee places that understands it's not the attitude that makes it good.
Sometimes it really is just a really great cup of coffee and the smile that goes with it.
