La Indita

This place is a total hole in the wall joint. The service is fair but not impressive, there isn't a whole lot of ambiance, but the food is truly addicting. They make there own tortillas and then fry them up for hot, tasty home made chips. The salsa is spicy and flavorful. The flautas were crisp and slightly, but not too, greasy, fresh and delicious. The menu has lots of old Mexican favorites (tacos, burros, tostadas) but also includes Indian (Tahona O'Odam) food mixed in for something a little different. They also have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options available. I have never tasted anything there that I didn't like, and if I stay away too long I begin to crave the food like some kind of addict. If you are looking for a fancy date place, go somewhere else, but if you want amazing food for a good price, you must try La Indita.
